Perspective is Everything

As I continue to share my thoughts and opinions on film, I thought it would only be fair to share a little more on myself. Within this blog-post you will find pictures of myself as well as some of the experiences that have shaped the person that I have evolved to be.

An unplanned trip to England’s countryside landed me at a very beautiful and serene spring.
A week in Seattle showed me there is more to the world than just the east coast. This early evening photo of a local bar showed me Seattle’s beauty in it’s simplicity.
A road trip up the east coast reveals hidden gems throughout the Appalachian Mountains.
Myrtle Beach in November. Hardly anyone around, but this time was so full of great people and better conversations.
My sister and mother. Just two of the women who radiate life, and offer me more perspective to share.
All of my brothers, my mother and I. Although we are related, we come from different times, different environments, and different worlds. They continue to give me more to learn and understand about the world.
Although I am pictured by myself within this photo, I carry the village that has raised me.
My eldest brother. The Patriarch.
Soon we will be having a new addition to the family.
My Mother. The woman who would go to build the village.

There are so many stories behind these images. There is so much love, bliss, and everything in between. That is exactly what life is filled with. Film gives just a small fraction of that presentation. As I evolve in my interpretation of film, these are just some of the things that I carry with me.

What are some things that you carry with you? Comment below.
